Dr. Alan Weiss has worked in medical informatics with Epic and Cerner implementations at Cleveland Clinic, Cedars-Sinai and Memorial Hermann. In the process, he has analyzed problem lists across each, over 10 million total, and learned patterns in their use and development. This analysis looks at trends of EMR usage and the issues of problem list definition, design, tools and managing them as they exist in all EMRs.
